If I don't drink lots of milk when I go up I'm going to be good enough to play for accrington Stanley.

This will be at D&Rs Victoria Road which is where the development squad are now based.

Good night out. Don't know if they still have stands?

Really Gavvy?

Buster 12:05 Thu Aug 25
Re: League cup draw
Don't be soft Gavvy. It's a home game, there's no excuse for not playing it at 'home'.

Gavros 12:07 Thu Aug 25
Re: League cup draw
No chance. The club would have to pay £100 grand for it given they're more or less sure to max out the 25 games allowance.

Huffers 12:08 Thu Aug 25

WHU have already confirmed its at London Stadium

Iron Duke 12:08 Thu Aug 25

100% it will be played at the London Stadium.

WHU do lie though Huffers

Re: League cup draw
So? The FL won't give a fuck about that, it's our problem. We shouldn't be allowed to play elsewhere based on it costing us a few quid to hire our 'home' stadium.

Re: League cup draw
With that attitude, they will be the side that knocked West Ham out of the League Cup 2016...

Before you're 4 up, you've got to take even small sides seriously.

(Yes, my 6-a-side team lost 3-1 to a side that lost 13-0 in its last fixture today. It didn't help that we gifted them the first goal by being completely complacent... - not that that's got anything to do with it...)

Gavvy's all over the place with this one.

£2.50 and free public transport in London

Gavros 12:14 Thu Aug 25
Re: League cup draw
Well blow me. So it is.

Reckon it's a one off though as it'll be a drain on finances if only a few thousand people paying a fiver turn up

Re: League cup draw Accrington home
Gavros 100k is nothing, beer, burgers, programmes, merchandise etc makes paying 100k even for a small club worth paying

I can see this tie getting us into another fine mess.

Comfortable 5-0 win and I'll hopefully get a ticket.

Gavros 12:20 Thu Aug 25
Re: League cup draw
Depends on the people you get through the door.

Assuming average ticket price is £5 and the average person spends £5 then per person revenue for West ham is £6.50. So your break even crowd is 15,000. It's doable while it's still a novelty but don't expect it to continue.

Let's hope they drink their pre-match MILK

Re: League cup draw
I hope it costs them. Fuck 'em.

Looking forward to the 'Well Wes have only got 14k at Upton Park' when we get 26k there at a fiver a pop.
